Bruch, Violin Concerto in G Minor, soloist, Alice Earll;
(Alice lives in Kempley, near Newent, is a sixth-form student at Newent School and will soon be studying at the Royal Northern College of Music. She is the leader of Gloucestershire Youth Orchestra and "Prima Corda".)

Suite, "Three Folk Dances": Rutland Boughton
(Boughton (1878 - 1960) lived in Kilcot, just outside Newent and is composer of the famous and record-breaking opera, "The Immortal Hour", an Arthurian saga. More info. at www.rutlandboughtonmusictrust.org.uk   .)

First performance of "The Well-Tempered Orchestra": Bill Anderton
(Bill lives in Newent and is the leader of the Newent Orchestra)

The orchestra will include musicians from Newent Community School
